CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs) matched log-in dates up until February 28th, 2006! My log-in date is March 1, 2006. Thank goodness it is not a leap year!
What is a log-in date, "LID"? This is the day that China says you are approved to adopt.
When I first signed up I was told the wait would be 6-9 months after my LID. If I go to China to get Olivia in March (as I am "planning" today) then my wait will be 3 years!!!!!!!!!!
There is a rumor that CCAA will do the next set of matches before Chinese New Year....and CNY is January 25th.

So Exciting! I can't wait to meet my new little niece!
ReplyDeleteHooray!! It's about time. Here's to Koko, Olivia and 2009. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Olivia is beautiful. I am a friend of Kendall Marty's. I lived in Guangzhou for 5 years. Please call me at 513-515-8481 and I would be so happy to answer any of your questions. While we were there, we helped a few friends who were coming over to adopt. I imagine that you will be staying at the White Swan in Guangzhou. They are very set up for babies. My e-mail is suekevinedwards@gmail if that would be easier. Looking forward to talking to you. Kendall has been such a blessing since we moved to Cincinnati. She and I run and our youngest boys are big pals. We are moving and will all of them so very much.
Best of luck.
Suzanne
