Shang Guan Xin Yi

I received THE phone call from Heartsent (my adoption agency) on Thursday, January 22 at 10:30am. What a surprise it was, I was not expecting the call until the next week.

I saw my baby's face for the first time at 11:45am....I was the first person in my travel group to get to Heartsent, see her face, and accept my referral.

It is very hard to explain the moment I saw my daughter's face for the first time. One second she is a stranger and the next I am in love. WOW! I can't believe she is my girl!!

I am traveling to China in 5-7 weeks with a group of 9 families from my agency. Everyone is adopting a girl, most are around Olivia's age...and there are no twins.

My mom is my travel buddy!

We fly into Hong Kong on a flight we arrange ourselves. Once everyone from my agency gets into HK we board a flight for Shanggao where we will meet our babies for the first time. We will spend about a week in this area before our final stop in Guangzhou. Guangzhou is where we have an appointment with the US General Consulate.
